Holy Saturday & Hard Faith

In the stillness of Holy Saturday, I find myself nestled in a quiet reflection, a day where the world seems to pause between despair and hope. It's a time that calls for what I've come to understand as hard faith—the kind that holds fast even when the dawn seems farthest away. "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me," Jesus tells us in the book of John. These words become a beacon in today's quiet, a gentle reminder that faith, especially when it's hard, is about trusting in the unseen, believing in the promise of renewal and resurrection. Today, as I sit in the calm of anticipation, I let this scripture be my guide, a soft yet firm foundation of faith that prepares me for the joy we know is coming.
