Beverly Holloway - Casting Director

Beverly Holloway has been an independent Casting Director for TV and feature film for almost 30 years and is proud to be a member of The Casting Society of America. Throughout her career, Beverly has had the opportunity to work with some of the best actors in the industry across multiple genres of film including drama, comedy, family/faith, action/adventure, rom-com, thriller, sci-fi, horror and animation.

Karen & Jim Covell - Hollywood Prayer Network

Karen & Jim Covell - Hollywood Prayer Network

Karen Covell is an independent film/TV producer and the founding director of the Hollywood Prayer Network, a ministry that mobilizes Christians to pray for the entertainment industry. Her husband, Jim Covell, is an award-winning composer whose credits include scoring the film Left Behind and numerous TV projects. Together they run JC Productions and have co-authored faith-focused books such as How to Talk About Jesus Without Freaking Out and The Day I Met God, uniting their gifts in storytelling

Spero Stamboulis - Distribution

Spero Stamboulis - Distribution

Spero Stamboulis is a veteran indie producer and former actor whose slate includes Warning Shot, Beyond Paranormal, and The Eyes. After early screen appearances in films like Boiler Room and 15 Minutes, he shifted behind the camera, building a résumé as producer, executive producer, and unit production manager on more than 30 features. He now also scouts titles as an acquisitions affiliate for Stonecutter Media, pairing his creative eye with distribution know-how to shepherd projects.

Pitch Fest is a high-energy highlight of the festival—a live, fast-paced arena where creators pitch their stories to a panel of seasoned judges before a cheering audience. The adrenaline of the ticking timer, instant feedback from industry pros, and crowd buzz make it both exhilarating and unforgettable. Entry still requires a full three-day festival pass plus the separate Pitch Fest ticket. Secure your spot early, then polish your logline and get ready to captivate the room!

Joth Riggs - Director

Joth Riggs - Director

Veteran filmmaker Joth Riggs—whose 30-year career spans more than a hundred film and TV projects for every major Hollywood studio—presents his high-energy Signature Director Workshop. Drawing on techniques he teaches in “Directing Your Movie: From Script to Screen,” Riggs walks participants through script breakdowns, shot-list design, on-set leadership, and post-production strategy, punctuating each step with stories from productions.

The festival’s Director Panel—moderated by veteran filmmaker Joth Riggs—offers nominated directors a rare, front-row forum to trade battle-tested insights on storytelling, set leadership, and career strategy. Participation is open to any director whose film is nominated, but seats on stage are first-come, first-served, so sign up in advance to secure your mic. Expect fast-paced discussion, live audience questions, and Riggs’ trademark blend of practical wisdom and on-set anecdotes.

Spencer Folmar is an award winning producer, director, and writer. He is the founder of American Talent Management. His 2017 theatrical debut “Generational Sins” made worldwide news with his new Hard Faith™ genre. His films and entrepreneurial endeavors have been featured in Variety, New York Times, New York Post, Newsweek, LA Times, Deadline, Hollywood Reporter, and more. Spencer has written & directed 8 feature films and produced 12 features.

The Screenwriter Panel—steered by talent coordinator and story guru Cova Brouwer Gentry—invites every nominated writer to pull back the curtain on craft, collaboration, and the realities of getting pages to the screen. Seats at the table are limited and allotted on a first-come, sign-up-in-advance basis, so claim yours early if you want the mic. Expect Cova’s incisive questions to spark lively debate on structure, dialogue, and rewriting under fire, with live audience prompts.

A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Cova Brouwer Gentry is a Dutch Canadian screenwriter based out of Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee. Cova primarily writes features with a focus on adventure, nature, and history with her Alberta screenwriting production company ‘Sincerely, Bigfoot Productions.’ She is the recipient of the 2024 "Judge's Choice" for the Hard Faith Film Festival's Pitch Fest. Rev. J.T.

J.T., a former U.S. Army Military Intelligence soldier, now serves as Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. With 15 years of ministry experience—from revitalizing a 112-year-old congregation to leading a multi-campus church—he focuses on helping people meet, love, and follow Jesus. J.T. ministers alongside his wife, Sarah, a women’s-health nurse practitioner; together they raise four energetic children and enjoy CrossFit, hosting friends, and discovering new eateries.

With Karen’s seasoned questions and real-world anecdotes, expect a fast-moving conversation on budget juggling.

Chris Covell is an L.A.–based writer-director and sought-after script consultant. A Chapman University film-production graduate, he has crafted dozens of shorts, music videos, and commercials while providing story analysis for Alcon Entertainment, Paradigm Talent Agency, and Inspired Entertainment. As lead reader for TheScriptReader.com, his coverage credits range from Black Mirror and Prisoners to Soldado, and he has advised creatives such as Adrien Brody and Chris Pratt.
